Wounded Warrior Dog VIII

Laminated and carved ambrosia maple, walnut, copper, acrylic paint.

This harlequin colored Doberman, the last in the series of the Wounded Warrior Dogs Project, represents veterans of all wars that experience Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), formerly known as Battle Fatigue, Shell Shock and Post-Vietnam Syndrome. The doves on the back represent the stand-off of “light” and “dark” spirits when it comes to good and bad memories.
