Constructed White Pine with acrylic on shaped canvas and copper trim. This installation of free standing totems are ceremonial like funerary ships standing on end. They were designed with color and negative and positive space in mind. These show my interest in the shaped canvas wood frames and are for the most part wood sculptures with painted canvas coverings. As shown here in my first gallery exhibition in Columbus Ohio, the totems had copper clad bases. I have recently created new bases of turned Ash.
